We all have them. In the busyness of everyday life, it can be difficult to sustain even a few moments with a clear mind. With so many tasks to complete, places to go, information to retain, and deadlines to meet, I often feel as though my mind acts as a never-ending internal checklist. Then there are a variety of thoughts about life in general, from my future goals and dreams to the environment to what yoga leggings I want to wear for my next class, all circulating in my head.As individuals, we all have very different thoughts racing through our heads, but we can all benefit from occasionally pausing them (at least to some extent) to really tune in to what we are feeling and embrace the beauty of the simple things that occur around us. So go for a peaceful walk in the woods, lay under the stars, or run out onto the beach in 30 degree weather plus 50mph winds to watch the sunset (as my friend and I did in these pictures). Regardless of what you may have going on in your life, make time to relax your mind, seek out beautiful things, and really take it all in.
